A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the Site uses to track the pages you’ve visited, the time you’ve spent on the site as well as your click patterns. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Some parts of the Site use cookies to track user traffic patterns. We do this in order to determine the usefulness of our Site information to our users and to see how effective our navigational structure is in helping users reach that information.

If you prefer not to receive cookies while browsing the Site, you can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies and refuse the cookie when your browser alerts you to its presence. You can also refuse all cookies by turning them off in your browser, although you may not be able to take full advantage of the Site if you do so. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use/navigate through many parts of the Site.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site will be transmitted to and stored by Google in aggregate form. Google uses this aggregated information on our behalf in order to evaluate use of the Site, compile reports on Site activity and other services relating to Site activity and usage. You can learn more about Google Analytics and how to opt out here: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track Requests; Third-Party Tracking

Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities invisible to usage analytics tools, we do not presently have the capability to omit you from usage analytics to the extent your browser sends us a “do not track” message. More information about “do not track” is available at www.allaboutdnt.org concerning such information. Third parties, other than our service providers do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited prior to and after visiting the Site. We may also ask you to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. Your option not to receive promotional and marketing material will not preclude us from corresponding with you, by email or otherwise, regarding your existing or past business relationships with us, and will not preclude us from accessing and viewing your personal information in the course of maintaining and improving the Site and our services.
